Purpose of personal data processing and their legal basis
The purpose of personal data processing is primarily the provision of services to which the Operator is authorized and the fulfilment of related obligations. The purpose is also to select and customize advertisements and other sponsored content, verify accounts, site activities, prevent crime and other illegal activities, and marketing communications (newsletters) and non-marketing communications with users.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is
- performance of the contract, the parties to which are the data subject as a user, and the Operator. The subject of the contract is the provision of services by the Operator, specified in this Policy above. The processing of personal data is necessary to meet the Terms of Use of the website by the Operator, security, and communication with the user
- express the consent of the user, which can be revoked at any time. Based on the consent, the Operator processes a special category of personal data and data that the Operator shares with third parties (advertisers)
- the legitimate interests of the Operator, except in cases where the interests of the user or his/her fundamental rights and freedoms prevail over the interests of the Operator (eg minors, security, non-marketing communications, sharing information with public authorities to prevent wrongdoing and interference with rights). Circle of recipients/intermediaries of personal data
The Operator provides certain activities through suppliers with whom it shares personal data. Time of personal data processing
Personal data is processed only for the time strictly necessary due to the purpose of their processing. The time of personal data processing depends on the purpose of the processing and is determined by the Operator or by legal regulations. If the legal basis for personal data processing is represented by the consent of the data subject, the Operator shall be entitled to process personal data, unless such consent is revoked. If the legal basis for the processing of personal data is a legitimate interest of the Operator, the Operator shall determine the appropriate processing time.
Rights of the data subject
The following rights can be exercised electronically by the data subject at email.
The right of access to personal data. The data subject shall have the right to receive confirmation from the Operator on whether his/her personal data are being processed and, if so, the right to obtain access to such data. The right to rectification of incorrect or incomplete personal data. The right to object to the processing of personal data if the personal data are processed based on the legitimate interests of the Operator. The right to request a restriction on the scope of processing of personal data. The right to have personal data erased, in particular, if (i) the personal data are no longer necessary concerning the purposes for which they are processed or (ii) the data subject withdraws consent on which the processing is based or (iii) the data subject has successfully objected to the personal data processing or (iv) there is unlawful processing of personal data. The data subject has the right to delete his/her account. Information shared about the data subject by third parties is not part of the data subject's account. The right to personal data portability. The right to file a complaint to the supervisory authority if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data is contrary to the GDPR.
